Getting Started
You choose whether you want to start online or on campus. Our flexible on-campus model option enables you to work, study and socialise, as well as create an international professional network through career fairs and group work. There are multiple intakes every year for you to join one of the university’s two campuses in Germany. In Berlin or Bad Honnef, may be able to join in October, April, June or January, depending on your programme. You will have regular, in-person lectures where you can work closely with lecturers and other students. You will also have access to the study tools, educational videos, interactive books and courses and student forums our online model offers, so you can catch up on work anytime that fits your schedule.
Accredited Quality?
IU is state recognised, as well as an institutionally, system accredited university. This means that its study programmes and teaching are recognised for their high quality. It also means that the quality of their teaching has been reaccredited for the next five years, and IU are trusted to independently accredit new programmes to meet quality standards. They are also certified by the German Accreditation Council, which ensure resources, teaching, and curricula meet high standards.
Support through International Bursaries and Scholarships?
IU offers bursaries or scholarships of up to 80% to online students, depending on their personal circumstances and region, making it a truly affordable university for international students. Bursaries are available for the bachelor, master’s and MBA programmes available online. For the new on campus model, prices are broken down into monthly payments, and offer a more flexible and affordable alternative to other on-campus offerings.
