The University of South Alabama – USA is proud to offer a number of scholarship opportunities for international students. As many of these are competitive awards, to ensure consideration students are encouraged to apply for admission prior to the April 1st priority deadline date.
The Global USA Scholars award is a ​competitive, merit-based ​scholarship, awarded to a limited number of well-qualified international students each year. ​This scholarship is renewable for up to four years​,​ or until a ​first​ bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever comes first.​

Value Of Scholarships: $5,000 to $11,000 per academic year
Eligibility: To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be an international freshman on an F-visa
- Be a degree-seeking student
- Have a minimum ACT of 28 (or SAT converted)
- Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5.
