The Transylvania University – USA is offering the YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarships to International students who are seeking to pursue a degree program at the Institution.
Transylvania has joined 57 other U.S. colleges and universities in a pledge to provide financial support for incoming international students to encourage study in the United States through the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship. Transylvania will award an annual, renewable, 50% tuition scholarship for up to two incoming students.

Eligibility:
- Applicants need to submit one of the proofs of English proficiency.
- Applicants must have graduated from or attended a secondary school outside the U.S.
- Applicants must be a first-year international applicant of any major to a participating college or university
- Applicants must demonstrate interest and initiative in leadership and intercultural learning.
How To Apply: Complete the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship application and a 500-1000 word essay or a two-to-five minute video describing your aspirations to conduct projects, research, employment or other experiences that will advance intercultural learning.
#YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarships must be submitted to Alice Schaaf, assistant director of international recruitment, via email at aschaaf@transy.edu by Dec. 1, 2019.
