The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) is partnering with the MasterCard Foundation, Gulu University, and Egerton University to offering Scholarship opportunities to Africans who are willing to pursue a degree program at the above mentioned Institutions.

Course Level: Undergraduate, Masters

Eligible Countries: African countries. 70% will be for Kenya and Uganda nationals.

Number of Awardees: 50 Bachelors and 20 Master scholarships

Value of Scholarship: Fully-funded

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this program, applicants must :

  • be Africans
  • be economically disadvantaged and those coming from conflict and post-conflict areas of Africa.
  • be in position to qualify for admission into undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs at Gulu University and/or Egerton University
  • have excellent academic records
  • Be less than 25 years for Bachelor and less than 30 years for Master studies
