The University College Dublin is pleased to announce the Kerry Group Newman Fellowship in Food Safety and Consumer Engagement. Fellowship is open to Irish students for pursuing postdoctoral research programme.
Eligible Nationalities: Fellowship is open to Irish students.
Eligibility Criteria: Applications are invited from candidates who hold a PhD in Science Communication and a masters and Batchelors degree in a science subject related to food safety. Relevant scientific publications and practical experience in both qualitative and quantitative work is essential, a knowledge of the use of the social media for consumer engagement would be beneficial. The candidate should have good knowledge on food risk communication, traditional media and social media, and research methodology used in sociological and psychological research. The candidate should also have record of publication in these areas.
Method of Application: Applications should be submitted via email. Applicants should submit a CV and the names of 3 referees. All Ph.D. candidates will be expected to fulfil the English language requirements for admission to the PhD programme at University College Dublin.
