The Iowa State University of Science and Technology generally referred to as Iowa State, is a public flagship land-grant and space-grant research university located in Ames, Iowa, United States.

The International Student Council (ISC) and the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) of Iowa State University are offering multiple scholarships for international students. University’s aim is to promote critical thinking, the responsible management of people, professional skills development, innovation in research, teaching and learning, and the constructive expression of divergent viewpoints.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate programme.

Scholarship Benefits: This year, ISC and ISSO will award multiple $800.00 scholarships to these students for their contributions to the ISU international community.

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarships are available for international students.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the ISU International Scholarship you must:

  • Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate international student (F-1 or J-1 Status)
  • Demonstrate leadership or volunteering experiences
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Have been enrolled at ISU for at least two semesters (Fall and Spring) prior to applying
  • Have a minimum ISU cumulative GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduates
