The Shawnee State University is a public university that was established in 1986, making it one of Ohio’s youngest universities, and is located along the banks of the Ohio River in the city of Portsmouth in Scioto County.

Merit-Based Scholarships are open for the academic year 2018-2019. These are highly competitive scholarships are available for international students for pursuing undergraduate programme at the Shawnee State University.

Scholarship Benefits: Shawnee Scholar Award: Full-tuition scholarship for four years.
Shawnee Achievement Award: ($6,000 per year/$24,000 for four years)
Shawnee Excellence Award: ($5,000 per year/$20,000 for four years)
Shawnee Success Award: ($4,000 per year/$16,000 for four years)
Blue & Gray Award: ($3,000 per year/$12,000 for four years)
