The Shawnee State University is a public university that was established in 1986, making it one of Ohioâ€™s youngest universities, and is located along the banks of the Ohio River in the city of Portsmouth in Scioto County.
Merit-Based Scholarships are open for the academic year 2018-2019. These are highly competitive scholarships are available for international students for pursuing undergraduate programme at the Shawnee State University.

Shawnee Achievement Award: ($6,000 per year/$24,000 for four years)
Shawnee Excellence Award: ($5,000 per year/$20,000 for four years)
Shawnee Success Award: ($4,000 per year/$16,000 for four years)
Blue & Gray Award: ($3,000 per year/$12,000 for four years)
