Plymouth University is a public university based predominantly in Plymouth, England where the main campus is located, but the university has campuses and affiliated colleges all over South West England.
The Plymouth University is pleased to offer full-time MPhil/PhD studentship starting on January 1, 2018. The successful applicant will work on the research project entitle ‘The effectiveness of partially protected marine areas for ecosystem-based fisheries management’ under the supervision of Dr Emma Sheehan and Professor Martin Attrill.
Course Level: Studentships are available to pursue MPhil/PhD programme.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should be highly motivated and have a relevant undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above, and ideally an appropriate MSc or MRes qualification. Previous experience in statistical and GIS analysis would be beneficial.
Eligible Countries: Home/EU and International students are eligible to apply for this studentship programme.
Scholarship Award: The studentship will have a 3.5-year duration and will cover full-time home/EU tuition fees plus a stipend of £14,553 per annum. The position is open to all applicants, although candidates required to pay overseas fees must be able to cover the difference between home/EU and overseas tuition fees (approximately £10,350 per annum for 2017/2018).
