This scholarship is provided to allow graduates pursue study of benefit to the Muslim world. It will cover 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £14,296)

Oxford University is offering the Islamic Studies Scholarship to African Muslim Students who wants to undergo a Masters or DPhil course program in Islamic Studies.

Eligibility Criteria:

– Applicants must be applying to start a new full-time master’s or DPhil course at Oxford.

– Applicants must either be an ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and from a Muslim community (with preference given to those from a financially disadvantaged household) OR a National of, and ordinarily resident in, one of the following countries in Asia and Africa.

– Applicants should be intending to return to your country of ordinary residence once their course is completed.

– Applicants should be intending to undertake a course of study relating to Islamic Tradition.

Method of Application:

Interested and Eligible applicants should complete an Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships Supporting Statement and upload it, together with their Graduate Application Form.Scholarship Application Deadline: 8th or 19th of January 2018
