The Queensland Business Monthly and Griffith Business School is pleased to offer QBM Griffith MBA Responsible Leadership Scholarship for the responsible leaders of the future. Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

An MBA is an advanced general management degree designed for managers who wish to develop a solid business foundation, as well as skills and knowledge of cutting-edge business practices for the 21st century.

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue master degree program.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the field of business administration.

Scholarship Award: First prize

  • A Griffith MBAfull scholarship, valued at approximately $51,000, commencing in October 2017 or February 2018
  • Title of ‘Winner QBMGriffith MBA Responsible Leadership Scholarship’
  • Publication of an article about the winner in QBM and/or associated press
  • Two tickets to the Griffith Business School Gala Dinner on Friday 3 November

Runner-up prize

  • A Griffith MBAhalf scholarship, valued at approximately $25,500, commencing in October 2017 or February 2018
  • Title of ‘Runner-up QBMGriffith MBA Responsible Leadership Scholarship’
  • Two tickets to the Griffith Business School Gala Dinner on Friday 3 November

Finalists (four)

  • A scholarship to the value of one Griffith MBA course, worth approximately $4,250
  • Two tickets to the Griffith Business School Gala Dinner on Friday 3 November.

Number of Scholarships: The scholarship prizes cover tuition fees for the Griffith MBA (program code 5158) and may be used for up to three years of part-time study and are awarded as follows:

  • One (1) winner receives full tuition fees;
  • one (1) runner-up receives half of the tuition fees; and
  • Four (4) finalists receive tuition fees to the value of one course.

Scholarship can be taken in Australia

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to enter the competition, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Be able to demonstrate existing or potential responsible leadership
  • Be eligible for admission to the Griffith fully flexible MBA, program code 5158 (see MBA admission requirements)
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia

Nationality: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia is eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

Method of Application:

To enter this competition, you must follow two steps:

  • Step 1: Entrants must apply for admission by visiting the Griffith MBA (program code 5158)program page and completing the online application form available via ‘Apply Now’ button
  • Step 2: All entrants who are eligible for admission to the MBA and fulfill the entry criteria will receive an invitation to participate in the competition terms and conditions and confirm their competition registration by Thursday 7 September.
