Scholarships for Master’s and Doctoral Programme At University of Würzburg in Germany

The University of Würzburg is pleased to offer Scholarships for Comparative Studies in Adult Education & Lifelong Learning to pursue Master’s and Doctoral programme. German, EU, as well as Non-EU applicants, are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

The main focus is to students who are enrolled in study programmes close to adult education and lifelong learning. Additionally, we welcome interdisciplinary approaches as well.

The University of Würzburg is one of the leading universities in Germany – as is the case with rankings of national and international research organizations as well as international expert commissions. In many fields of science, for example, in biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, and psychology, the University of Würzburg is also one of the world’s leading academic institutions.

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue Master’s and Doctoral programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to study Comparative Studies in Adult Education & Lifelong Learning.

Scholarship Award: Scholarship of subsistence: 500 Euro for two complete weeks plus travel lump sum according to country of destination (see DAAD regulations, column 1).

Number of Scholarships: Around 18 international scholarships funded by the DAAD Summer School Programme.

Scholarship can be taken in Germany

Eligibility Criteria: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • The programme is oriented towards master and doctoral students from Europe and beyond. The main focus is on students who are enrolled in study programmes close to adult education and lifelong learning. Additionally, we welcome interdisciplinary approaches as well.

Nationality: German, EU as well as Non-EU applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

English Language Requirements: Due to the intensive interactions during the Winter School only applications of people with an English level of B2 (see Common European Framework of Reference for Language) can be considered. Please provide a proof of your language skills (e.g. by the statement of a university professor).
